Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:30am - 2:00 PM

Position Summary: The Omar Coffee Company is seeking a full-time dependable and motivated Coffee Roaster to join the team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and committed to producing high-quality roasted coffee while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate coffee roasting equipment according to roasting profiles and procedures.
Monitor each roast closely and remain at the roasting station for the duration of every roast cycle.
Maintain consistent product quality through attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping.
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of roasting equipment and work areas.
Package, label, and move finished products as needed.
Assist with inventory management and production support activities.
Follow all company safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

Ability to multi-task effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure in a production environment.
Demonstrated good housekeeping habits and commitment to workplace cleanliness and organization.
Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds safely and repeatedly throughout the shift.
Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Reliable attendance and punctuality required

Preferred but Not Required:

Previous coffee roasting, food production, manufacturing, or equipment operation experience preferred. Will train the right individual.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are a plus.
Passion for specialty coffee and quality craftsmanship is desirable.

Education:

High school diploma or GED required.

Full-Time Benefits:
