Overview
Join our vibrant café team as a Barista and become the heart of our customer experience! In this energetic role, you'll craft delicious beverages, deliver exceptional service, and create a welcoming environment for every guest. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help us serve up memorable moments, one cup at a time. Whether you're passionate about coffee, food handling, or providing outstanding customer service, this position offers a dynamic opportunity to grow within the food and retail industry.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Square efficiently for order processing and cash handling
Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service to ensure satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for change
Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance
Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, supporting overall food service operations

Requirements

Previous barista experience or coffee industry background required; passion for coffee is a plus!
Familiarity with POS systems such as Square is highly desirable
Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for sales transactions and retail math purposes
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Experience in serving or food preparation within cafés or retail environments is advantageous
Capable of standing for extended periods, with good physical stamina for fast-paced work

Most be able to work Fridays and Saturdays. Base pay is $15 per hr plus tips, you will make between $17-22 per hr after tips, plus any cash tips. Most have experience in pulling shots and frothing milk.
