Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a qualified Accountant to join our expanding team.

Job Description

Western Skies Management is seeking an Accountant with a strong understanding of full-cycle accounting processes, in accordance with GAAP. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual who is eager to learn and follow direction, while also possessing strong analytical skills and the drive to implement process improvements. This position offers significant autonomy and a clear path to professional success for individuals who can effectively manage their time and resources.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the complete full-cycle accounting process for assigned entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting, in accordance with GAAP.
Perform regular cash and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate account balances for your assigned portfolio.
Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts to support efficient month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Prepare budgets, financial statements, and comprehensive financial analyses for assigned entities.
Streamline the distribution process by preparing cash flow statements, recommending distributions to ownership, and ensuring accurate reconciliation between distributions and reporting.
Collaborate effectively with Property Management, Lease Administration, Collections, Finance, Leasing, Legal, and Construction departments to support the company's overall objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field. In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of directly related experience will be considered.
Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient computer skills.
Excellent professional and interpersonal skills.
