Fully Remote | The California Law Office

We’re looking for a Personal Injury Attorney who desires to represent people against corporations that hurt them and insurance companies that refuse to pay what's just. You must enjoy developing winning strategies to win for injured victims.

Our growing California personal injury law firm is seeking an attorney to manage a pre-litigation caseload by overseeing the work of our case handlers and assisting them to achieve fair results for our clients. At the same time, we want someone who wants to hone his/her litigation and trial skills to become a real trial lawyer. This would be done under and through the supervision of a tried and proven trial lawyer who learned from the trial masters (e.g., Gerry Spence), and who is willing to pass his learning to lawyers eager to learn and hungry for justice.

This position is ideal for an attorney who wants to advance steadily up the ranks of the firm and undertake cases that will be tried. So it must be a lawyer that is not afraid to go against big corporations and high priced defense firms.

What You’ll Do

Manage a pre-litigation caseload from demands through settlement.

Negotiate aggressively with insurance adjusters to maximize recoveries.

Evaluate liability, damages, and medical evidence to develop winning strategies.

Identify cases that require litigation and confidently transition them into suit.

Litigate disputed liability cases, including denied liability, comparative negligence, and 50/50 liability claims.

Draft pleadings, conduct discovery, take and defend depositions, attend hearings, hire litigation experts and try the cases before juries.

Work closely with an experienced support team committed to exceptional client service.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

Has personal injury work experience.

Is highly organized, accountable, and proactive.

Has excellent writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills.

Bonus Qualifications

Some trial experience to show that there is no fear to fight when required.

Spanish speaking is preferred, but if none, a willingness to learn it
