Full Job Description

Overview
Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Finisher Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into durable, high-quality concrete structures. In this energetic role, you'll work alongside skilled tradespeople to ensure concrete projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your hands-on contributions will help shape impressive commercial and residential spaces, providing lasting value to our clients and communities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while contributing to impactful construction projects.

Duties

Assist with the preparation of concrete forms, rebar installation, and setting up formwork according to schematics and blueprints.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely to pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces such as floors, sidewalks, curbs, and decorative hardscape features.
Support the mixing and pouring of concrete using mixers and pumps, ensuring proper consistency and placement.
Perform heavy lifting tasks involving materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for concrete finishing and related construction activities.
Maintain a clean worksite by removing debris, organizing tools, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

Qualifications

Prior experience working on construction sites with knowledge of concrete finishing or related trades is highly preferred.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and safety procedures on construction sites.
Ability to read blueprints or schematics to understand project specifications.
Mechanical knowledge or experience with concrete mixers, pumps, or form systems is advantageous.
Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working in various weather conditions.
Basic understanding of construction estimating processes or blueprint reading is a plus but not required.
Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
