POSITION SUMMARY:

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operational performance of the Renewal by Andersen Cedar Valley market. This position oversees the people, processes, and resources required to deliver a safe, efficient, profitable, and exceptional homeowner experience from the time a project is sold through completion.

The Operations Manager is a hands-on leader who drives accountability, develops leaders, removes operational roadblocks, and ensures the team consistently delivers on Renewal by Andersen standards for quality, productivity, safety, and customer experience.

This position partners closely with Sales, Customer Experience, Production, Installation, Logistics, Warehouse, Service, and other departments to ensure the business operates as one team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Operational Leadership

· Lead the daily operations of the Cedar Valley market and ensure all departments are aligned with company goals and priorities.

· Establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards for operational teams.

· Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly operational performance and take corrective action when results are below expectations.

· Identify operational inefficiencies and implement sustainable solutions that improve productivity, quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

· Ensure company processes and standards are consistently followed across all operational functions.

· Maintain strong communication between departments to prevent issues from impacting homeowners, employees, or production schedules.

· Serve as a key member of the leadership team and contribute to overall business strategy.

· Maintain a strong customer-first culture throughout operations.

· Ensure operational teams understand that every interaction impacts the homeowner experience.

· Monitor customer feedback, complaints, NPS, callbacks, service issues, and other customer experience indicators.

· Quickly address operational issues that create homeowner dissatisfaction.

· Partner with Customer Experience and Sales leadership to identify recurring issues and implement solutions.

· Ensure commitments made to homeowners are communicated and fulfilled.

· Lead, coach, develop, and hold operational leaders accountable for performance.

· Build a culture of ownership, professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

· Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance discussions with direct reports.

· Ensure leaders are effectively managing their teams and addressing performance or behavioral concerns promptly.

· Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, disciplinary action, and termination decisions as appropriate.

· Partner with Human Resources to ensure employment practices are consistent, fair, and aligned with company policies.

· Recognize and celebrate employees who demonstrate exceptional performance and commitment to the team.

· Maintain a strong safety culture across all operational departments.

· Ensure employees follow company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable regulations.

· Ensure safety training is completed and documented.

· Investigate accidents, injuries, near misses, and safety concerns and implement corrective action.

· Hold leaders and employees accountable for safe work practices.

· Ensure company vehicles, equipment, tools, facilities, and job sites are maintained in a safe and compliant manner.

· Manage operational performance with a strong understanding of labor costs, productivity, waste, rework, material costs, and profitability.

· Monitor operational budgets and expenses.

· Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary costs without sacrificing safety, quality, or the homeowner experience.

· Review key performance indicators and financial results with the General Manager.

· Develop and execute action plans when operational performance is not meeting expectations.

· Balance short-term operational needs with long-term business objectives.

The Operations Manager is expected to:

· Lead by example and demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

· Create a culture where employees understand what is expected, why it matters, and how success is measured.

· Address problems quickly rather than allowing them to become recurring issues.

· Make data-driven decisions while considering the impact on employees and homeowners.

· Communicate clearly, consistently, and respectfully.

· Develop leaders rather than simply managing employees.

· Promote teamwork and eliminate departmental silos.

· Hold people accountable while providing the coaching and resources necessary for success.

· Continuously look for ways to make the business better, faster, safer, and more efficient.

Required

· 3+ years of leadership or management experience, preferably in operations, construction, remodeling, home improvement, manufacturing, logistics, or a related industry.

· Demonstrated ability to lead teams and hold employees accountable for performance.

· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to analyze performance data and translate it into actionable plans.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong computer skills and ability to learn and utilize company systems and technology.

· Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.

· Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Preferred

· Experience managing installation, construction, remodeling, or home improvement operations.

· Experience managing multiple departments or operational functions.

· Experience with KPIs, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibility.

· Experience with employee development, coaching, and performance management.

· Experience with continuous improvement or process improvement initiatives.

· Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety requirements.

· Experience with CRM, scheduling, inventory, or project management systems.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
