Location: Waycross, GA
Facility: Ascension St. Vincent's Waycross Cardiology Clinic
Schedule: Full - Time | Monday - Thursday from 8am -5pm | Friday 8am - 2pm
How you'll make an impact in this role:
- Greet and manage patient check-in/out, verifying demographic and insurance information, and obtaining necessary documentation.

Process insurance authorizations/precertification and handle medical record release requests.

Schedule patient appointments and manage daily charge entry, review, and submission for services.

Collect co-payments, reconcile daily financial reports, and prepare deposits.

Provide essential administrative and clerical support within the medical office setting.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:
Education:

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
What additional requirements you'll need:
Prior medical office experience, specifically supporting a fast-paced cardiology practice, with a strong working knowledge of Georgia medical insurance plans and regional payer requirements.
Hands-on proficiency with AthenaHealth EHR, paired with exceptional multi-tasking abilities, strong organizational skills, and a warm, customer-centric approach to patient care.
