Job Title: Host & Event Rentals Assistant

Location: Wenatchee, WA

Company: Host Wenatchee / NCW Event Rentals

Hours: Part-Time, 18–25 hours per week

Pay: $20.00 per hour starting (DOE)

Position Overview

Host Wenatchee and NCW Event Rentals are seeking a dependable and organized Host & Event Rentals Assistant to support operations at our event venue and rental warehouse. This role assists with event preparation, rental order fulfillment, warehouse organization, customer service, and email management while serving as an assistant to the Events Manager. The position involves hands-on work preparing for events, maintaining inventory, and helping ensure rentals and events run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Support for Events Manager

Assist the Events Manager with event preparation and operational tasks.
Help coordinate event setup needs and ensure rental items are prepared.
Assist with email management, including monitoring inboxes, responding to basic inquiries, and forwarding messages to the appropriate team member.
Provide general support to help events run smoothly from preparation through breakdown.

Venue & Event Support

Assist with event setup and breakdown at Host Wenatchee.
Prepare tables, chairs, décor, and rental items for scheduled events.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the venue before and after events.
Support venue hosts and vendors during events as needed.

Warehouse & Rental Operations

Work in the NCW Event Rentals warehouse preparing rental orders.
Pull, pack, and organize items for upcoming events and deliveries.
Help load and unload rental items for pickup or delivery.
Check returned orders back into inventory.
Wash, sort, and restock rental inventory.
Maintain organization of warehouse inventory and storage areas.

Customer Service

Assist customers with rental pickups and returns.
Greet clients and vendors arriving at the venue or warehouse.
Answer basic questions about rental items and venue services.

General Support

Help maintain accurate inventory counts.
Report damaged or missing items.
Assist with additional tasks related to event and rental operations.

Qualifications

Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to lift and move event equipment (tables, chairs, décor, boxes).
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Must have an adaptable and flexible personality and be willing to help wherever needed.
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Availability to weekends depending on events.

Additional Hours

This position is scheduled for 18–25 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours depending on event needs and peak season demand.
9:30am-1:30pm Monday - Friday standard hours

Preferred (Not Required)

Previous experience in events, hospitality, warehouse operations, or customer service.
Associate’s degree (AA) required
BA Preferred
Interest in the wedding and events industry.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
