Position Summary

Communities In Schools of North Central Washington is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Part-Time Administrative Assistant / Front Desk Support to help ensure the smooth daily operations of our administrative office. This position serves as the first point of contact for visitors, volunteers, and community partners while providing essential administrative support to staff.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team environment, has strong organizational skills, pays close attention to detail, and is passionate about supporting a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping students succeed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Welcome and assist visitors, volunteers, and community partners in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
Provide general front desk reception and customer service.
Make copies, scan, print, and organize documents.
File paper and electronic records accurately.
Assist with data entry and maintaining organized office records.
Prepare materials for meetings, trainings, and events.
Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries.
Maintain office and supply organization, including monitoring inventory and restocking supplies.
Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
Support agency events and outreach activities as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous administrative, receptionist, or office experience preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
