Position Overview
The Plastic Surgery Group is seeking a highly organized, creative, and strategic Marketing Specialist to oversee the marketing and brand presence of our surgical practice and MedSpa across multiple locations. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing initiatives that support patient education, brand growth, and new patient acquisition.
The Marketing Specialist will oversee digital marketing, social media strategy, website content, search engine optimization (SEO), advertising campaigns, and patient engagement initiatives. This role will also manage marketing for both the practice and individual physicians, ensuring consistent messaging, brand integrity, and compliance with healthcare marketing regulations.
This position works closely with physicians, administrative leadership, and external marketing vendors and reports directly to the Director of Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Development
- Develop and execute a comprehensive annual marketing plan aligned with practice growth goals.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives for both The Plastic Surgery Group surgical practice and TPSG MedSpa services.
- Plan and implement seasonal campaigns, promotions, and patient engagement initiatives.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity within the plastic surgery and aesthetics industry.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure marketing strategies align with practice priorities and brand standards.
- Assist with the development of marketing budgets and track return on investment (ROI) for marketing initiatives.
Social Media Strategy & Management
Manage and grow the practice’s social media presence across multiple platforms, including:
- Facebook
- Instagram
- TikTok
- LinkedIn (when applicable)
- U-tube and
- Any other social platform that may arise
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain a monthly social media content calendar.
- Create engaging educational content related to plastic surgery and aesthetic treatments.
- Manage social media posting, comments, direct messages, and patient engagement.
- Produce short-form video content and social media reels.
- Track performance analytics and engagement metrics.
Physician Social Media Management
- Assist physicians with professional Instagram presence showcasing educational surgical content.
- Coordinate before-and-after photo sharing in compliance with patient consent and privacy regulations.
- Capture educational video content and surgical insights when appropriate.
- Ensure all physician accounts align with practice brand standards.
Website Management & Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Manage and update website content, including:
- Procedure pages
- Physician profiles
- Blog articles
- Patient education resources
- Implement and monitor SEO strategies to improve search rankings and online visibility.
- Conduct keyword research and optimize content for relevant procedure searches.
- Coordinate with website developers and digital marketing vendors as needed.
- Maintain consistent online listings for all practice locations, including Google Business profiles.
- Monitor website performance, user engagement, and conversion metrics.
Content Creation & Patient Education
- Develop high-quality educational content for:
- Website
- Social media
- Blog articles
- Marketing materials
- Write promotional copy for:
- Practice newsletters
- Digital marketing campaigns
- Print materials
- Advertising initiatives
- Capture and manage clinical photography and video content for marketing purposes.
- Maintain organized libraries of approved marketing photos and videos.
Email Marketing & Newsletters
- Create and distribute monthly patient newsletters highlighting services, promotions, and educational content.
- Develop targeted email marketing campaigns.
- Manage patient email marketing lists and segmentation.
- Track campaign performance metrics including open rates, engagement, and conversions.
Advertising & Media Campaigns
Coordinate marketing initiatives, including:
- Digital advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads)
- Social media promotions
- Billboard advertising
- Print marketing
- Local media opportunities
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating campaign creative and messaging
- Monitoring campaign performance
- Tracking return on marketing investment
Reputation Management
- Monitor and respond to online reviews across platforms, including:
- Google
- Facebook
- Yelp
- Any other account that arises
- Develop strategies to increase positive patient reviews.
- Track reputation trends and report concerns to leadership.
Event Marketing & Community Engagement
- Assist with planning and promotion of:
- Patient events
- Open houses
- Educational seminars
- Community outreach initiatives
- Support vendor partnerships and promotional collaborations.
Multi-Location Marketing Support
- Travel between practice locations to support marketing initiatives.
- Capture photo and video content within the clinics.
- Attend staff meetings, planning meetings, and provider discussions when needed.
- Ensure consistent marketing messaging across all locations.
Vendor & Partner Coordination
- Coordinate with marketing vendors, including:
- Website developers
- SEO agencies
- Advertising vendors
- Media partners
- Manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements when appropriate.
Marketing Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, including:
- Website traffic
- Lead generation
- Social media engagement
- Campaign effectiveness
- Provide regular marketing performance reports to the Director of Operations.
- Recommend strategy adjustments based on analytics and market performance.
Compliance & Ethical Marketing
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with:
- HIPAA privacy regulations
- Patient consent policies
- Ethical medical advertising standards
- Maintain proper documentation for patient photos and video consent.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or three years of experience in Communications, Digital Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years marketing experience, preferably in healthcare, medical aesthetics, or plastic surgery
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and SEO
- Experience managing multiple social media platforms
- Experience with content creation, photography, and video marketing
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in plastic surgery or aesthetic medicine marketing
- Experience with digital advertising platforms
- Familiarity with marketing analytics tools
- Knowledge of CRM or patient management systems
- Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)

Position Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the Director of Operations and collaborates closely with physicians, administrative leadership, and external marketing partners.
Mission Alignment
The Marketing Manager plays an essential role in supporting The Plastic Surgery Group’s mission to provide exceptional patient care and to educate and empower patients through thoughtful communication and innovative marketing initiatives.
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
