We’re an expanding team of skilled professionals growing our machining capabilities to complement our marine hydraulic expertise. If hydraulic fluid flows through it—or if it needs precision machining to make it work—we tackle it with excellence. Who We Are Looking For:
We’re seeking a skilled, self-starting machinist with substantial experience running manual lathes and mills to join our team. This isn’t a production-line role—it’s a hands-on position for someone who excels at custom, high-quality work and thrives in a dynamic environment. As we build our machining division, you’ll also contribute to repair tasks, occasional on-vessel work, and help train incoming talent to support our growth. With plans to incorporate CNC machining down the line, this is a chance to grow with a forward-thinking company. Job Description:
As an Experienced Manual Machinist at ZMH, you’ll use manual lathes and mills to craft precise components that support our marine hydraulic projects. You’ll work independently on custom jobs, uphold our high standards of quality, and adapt to varied tasks as we expand our machining capabilities. From machining critical parts to troubleshooting hydraulic systems or working aboard vessels, you’ll play a key role in delivering excellence to our clients. As we grow, you’ll also assist in training new team members, sharing your expertise to build our future talent pool.

Requirements:

Significant experience operating manual lathes and mills (required).
Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a dedicated team.
Willingness to perform repair work or on-vessel tasks as needed.
Open to training incoming talent as we expand our machining division.
Detail-oriented with a passion for high-quality craftsmanship.
Willingness to relocate to Riviera Beach, FL before starting work (required).
Team Oritented

Desired Skills (Not Required – We’ll Support Your Growth!):

Interest or experience in CNC machining (a plus—we’re headed that way!).
Familiarity with marine systems, hydraulics, or machinery.
A curiosity about how things work and how to improve them.
