Position Summary: The HR Credentialing & Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of employee onboarding experience while ensuring the timely and accurate credentialing of licensed providers and clinical staff. The position also serves as a key member of the Human Resources team by supporting a variety of HR Functions including onboarding, employee records management, compliance orientation, HRIS data maintenance employment documentation, and employee support.

The coordinator works closely with Medical Staff, Operations, Employee Health, Information Technology, Payroll, and department leaders to ensure employees are successfully integrated into the organization and providers meet all credentialing and regulatory requirements.

The HR Credentialing & Onboarding Coordinator will assist with audits, reporting, and other assigned projects as assigned.

Roles and Responsiblities:

Employee Onboarding

Complete the Initial Credentialing/Re-credentialing for all Clinical Staff on a monthly basis and upon onboarding
Manage Clinical Support Staff Fitness of Duties, Health Attestation and immunizations within employees first 30 days of hire, request from Nurse Supervisor and place in credentialing and personnel file.
Support HR Manager with coordinating the onboarding process for all newly hired employees from offer to acceptance through orientation.
Schedule and manage new hire orientation, Employee Health and required trainings.
Coordinate badge creation, system access, equipment request, and workspace readiness
Ensure completion of 1-9s, employment eligibility verification, and all pre-employment requirements
Maintain onboarding checklist and documentation
Complete 90- Day onboarding surveys for new hires; Assist with Orientation & preparing new employee’s files & onboarding packets.
Serve as the primary contact for new hires during onboarding phase (first 90 days)
Other duties as assigned

Credentialing

Collect and verify licenses, certification, DEA registration, education, and work history.
Prepare credentialing files for presentation to the Internal Credentialing Committee
Monitor expiration dates and ensure timely renewals
Maintain the re-credentialing cycle for the non-LIP Clinical Staff
Maintain credentialing databases Modio and Provider Enrollment Table on EPIC
Support FTCA documentation and HRSA compliance, as applicable.
Respond to credentialing audits and requests.
Other duties as assigned

Human Resources

Daily Filing, pulling files for status changes
Updating CPR Cards, licenses on HRIS platform
Manage Communication between employee, managers, and FMLA vendor
Process invoices and internal requisitions
Collaborate with HR team on retention, employee engagement and wellness promotions
Maintain all FCHC job boards
Administer monthly Drug Test
Maintain confidentiality within the Human Resources Department
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Minimum Requirements (experience, training, and education): To effectively fulfill this position, candidate must meet the following requirements:
Associates Degree in related field or 5 years in equivalent in related work experience
Minimum 2 years health care setting
Experience with HRIS and credentialing preferred
1-2 years of experience in EPIC preferred
SHRM preferred
