About Us:

Since 2017, the company has leveraged its software development expertise and expanded its drone design and manufacturing capabilities through ZenaDrone to innovate and enhance customer inspection, monitoring, safety, security, compliance, and surveying processes.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records at our land surveying office in West palm beach. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with QuickBooks or other accounting platforms. Seeking a self-starter to support management with reliable financial and accounting deliverables. A successful candidate is expected to have a high degree of attention to detail, initiative to execute assignments, and a team player.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Maintain or assist in maintaining general ledgers and reconciling ledger accounts regularly.
Integrate accounting processes and implement appropriate tagging of financial records across all portfolio companies
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Generate financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, trial balance)
Help in preparation of supporting documentation for external accountants or auditors
Ensure proper record keeping, document retention and compliance with company policies and regulations
Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports; liaise with AP and AR teams as needed in a timely manner.
Integrate banking systems across all portfolio companies
Manage any vendor relationships and resolve billing discrepancies.
Manage payroll processing and related filings (as applicable)
Act as a liaison between various internal teams to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution

Qualifications:

College degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
Having a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, finance and accounting.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in English are mandatory for this role.
Excellent organizational skills, self-starter, ability to identify efficiencies and recommend efficiencies, and operational thinking are critical to the role.
Ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver’s license
