Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated, hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations across our wellness resort. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in facilities management, industrial maintenance, and team leadership. This role involves managing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining optimal operational efficiency. Experience in hospitality, healthcare, resort, or commercial facilities is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the facilities maintenance team to ensure timely and effective repair and upkeep of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment longevity and reduce downtime.
- Oversee troubleshooting and repair procedures for complex mechanical systems using schematics, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and testing tools such as ohmmeters.
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to OSHA safety regulations and industry best practices to promote a safe working environment.
- Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, coordinating with vendors and contractors to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory levels of parts and supplies, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and coordinate repairs for fire alarm, burglar alarm, access control, CCTV, and other life safety and security systems.
- Train staff on proper maintenance repair procedures, safety protocols, and the use of diagnostic tools for electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment (steamers, ovens, refrigeration, dish machines).
- Experience with lift stations, wastewater systems, water treatment, and irrigation systems.
- Familiarity with energy management and sustainability initiatives.
- Experience with generator maintenance and emergency power systems.
Requirements
- Proven management experience overseeing facilities maintenance teams within a manufacturing or hospitality environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in mechanical systems repair, HVAC system repair, electrical systems (including high voltage), plumbing system maintenance, and industrial maintenance.
- Familiarity with schematics, engineering troubleshooting methods, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to facilities management and industrial environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, planning, and communication purposes.
- Experience managing projects, work orders and track maintenance activities effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in managing diverse teams in fast-paced settings.
- Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to coordinate across departments effectively.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Passion for health, wellness, hospitality, and holistic living.
- Facilities management experience within manufacturing or similar industrial settings is highly desirable.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
