Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Travel Recruiter to join our dynamic talent acquisition team. In this role, you will drive the recruitment process for traveling professionals across various mining projects, ensuring we attract top-tier talent efficiently. Your proactive approach will help us meet project demands while maintaining compliance with employment laws and fostering strong candidate relationships.

Responsibilities

Source, screen, and interview candidates for travel-based mining roles using a variety of recruiting tools and platforms.
Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, from job posting to offer negotiation, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies utilizing social media marketing (recruitment), talent management software, and research to identify high-potential candidates.
Build and maintain relationships with internal hiring managers, external agencies, and potential candidates through effective communication skills and relationship management.
Ensure compliance with HR legal requirements, employment law in talent management, and company policies throughout the hiring process.
Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Lever or iCIMS to track candidate progress and generate recruitment reports.
Coordinate employee orientation sessions for new hires, supporting their onboarding journey into our organization.

Requirements

Proven experience in recruiting, especially in technical recruiting or executive recruiting within the mining or heavy industry sectors.
Strong negotiation skills paired with excellent communication skills to engage candidates effectively.
Familiarity with talent management software such as Workday, SAP PeopleSoft, or UltiPro is preferred.
Knowledge of employment & labor law applicable to talent acquisition practices globally.
Ability to conduct cold calls and lead generation activities to attract qualified candidates.
Experience with social media management (recruitment) and HRIS systems like Salesforce or ADP for candidate sourcing and data management.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
