Full Job Description

Our client in Fall River, Massachusetts, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lead Bacon Scallop Wrapper to join their seafood production team. This role is responsible for leading the wrapping team, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safe and efficient production.

Responsibilities of a Lead Bacon Scallop Wrapper:
Lead and coordinate daily activities of the bacon scallop wrapping team.
Assign workstations and monitor workflow to meet production goals.
Wrap, inspect, and package scallops according to company standards.
Train and support team members on procedures, quality, and food safety.
Perform quality checks and address production issues.
Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, sanitation, and safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist with labeling, packaging, and other seafood processing tasks as needed.

Qualifications for Lead Bacon Scallop Wrapper:
Previous food production, seafood processing, or packaging experience preferred.
Leadership experience and ability to train employees.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cold environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Cold, refrigerated seafood processing environment
Frequent standing for extended periods and repetitive hand movements
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Exposure to seafood products, moisture, and food processing equipment
Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Compensation and Schedule:
Location: Fall River, MA
Shift: First Shift
Pay: $18.00 per hour
