About Us
Kayrouz Petroleum is a well-established leader in the petroleum distribution and retail fueling industry. We are committed to operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and delivering consistent value to our customers and business partners. Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to support our growing operations.

Position Overview

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting monthly close activities, and providing detailed financial reporting to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly financial transactions within our PDI back office systems, ensuring accuracy of sales, fuel inventory, and deposits.
Prepare journal entries, maintain general ledger accounts, and perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
Compile and analyze financial data to prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Monitor compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysis as required.
Collaborate with operations and leadership to analyze margins, identify variances, and provide actionable financial insights.
Support the Controller and CFO with special projects and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (CPA or CMA designation a plus).
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience; prior experience in the petroleum, convenience store, or retail fueling industry strongly preferred.
Demonstrated expertise with PDI back office software is preferred
Solid understanding of GAAP and petroleum industry accounting practices.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong skills with financial reporting tools.
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
