Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented seamstress to join Fiarawear. This job can be remote or you can come to our home office a few days a week to complete sewing work. We are a small dancewear brand and are looking to grow! The ideal candidate will have a passion for garment construction and a strong understanding of sewing techniques. This role involves working mostly spandex and chiffon fabrics.

Responsibilities

Operate sewing machines and other equipment to fabricate garments according to specifications.
Perform garment construction tasks, including cutting, stitching, and finishing.
Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring all items meet design specifications and standards.
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the sewing process and make necessary adjustments.
Maintain sewing equipment and tools in good working condition.

Requirements

Proven experience in sewing is required
Proficiency in operating various types of sewing machines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with different types of fabrics and their properties is a plus.
Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing production needs.
A plus would be to have your own sewing machine/cover-stitch machine as well as a serger
