Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of exceptional food quality, maintaining high standards of food safety, and managing daily kitchen activities efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess extensive culinary expertise, strong leadership abilities, and experience in managing diverse food service environments, including fine dining, catering, and banquet settings. Responsibilities

Execute innovative menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations, incorporating dietary considerations and current food trends.
Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.
Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations through regular training and inspections.
Lead, motivate, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on professional growth and high performance.
Coordinate with catering and banquet departments to execute menus, and ensure timely service delivery.
Implement efficient shift management practices to maintain smooth operations during peak hours.
Monitor food production processes to uphold quality standards while adhering to budget constraints.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, food handling procedures, and staff schedules for operational transparency.

Requirements

Proven experience in culinary arts with a strong background in fine dining, catering, or banquet services.
Supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment with demonstrated leadership skills.
Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, menu planning, and kitchen management best practices.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and cost control measures within the food industry.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team while maintaining high standards of service quality.
Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management is highly desirable.
