Talent Acquisition Specialist

Lending Force | Troy, MI

Lending Force | Troy, MI | 100% On-Site

$55,000–$65,000 Base Salary + Commission

This Isn't a Sit-Back-and-Wait Recruiting Role.

Lending Force is growing, and we're looking for a high-energy, results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist who knows how to find great people, sell an opportunity, and turn strong candidates into hires.

We're a leading mortgage brokerage partnered with United Wholesale Mortgage, the nation's #1 wholesale mortgage lender. From our headquarters in Troy, Michigan, we're continuing to expand our team of licensed Mortgage Loan Officers — and we need a recruiter who can help drive that growth.

This isn't a traditional recruiting position where your day revolves around reviewing inbound applications.

We need a recruiter who can hunt.

You'll proactively source licensed Loan Officers, start conversations, build relationships, overcome objections, sell the Lending Force opportunity, and keep candidates engaged through the hiring process.

If you're competitive, persuasive, comfortable picking up the phone, and motivated by seeing your hires turn into successful employees, we want to meet you.

What You'll Earn

Base Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year

Plus: $250 for every successful hire once the employee completes 60 days with Lending Force.

The more effectively you recruit and retain great talent, the more you can earn.

What You'll Be Recruiting For

Your primary focus will be identifying and recruiting Mortgage Associates, Loan Processors, Mortgage Loan Officers, and Team Leads to join Lending Force.

You're not simply asking, "Are you looking for a new job?"

You'll learn what motivates candidates, understand what's missing from their current company, communicate the Lending Force value proposition, handle objections, and show strong candidates why making a move could accelerate their careers.

What You'll Do Source

Proactively identify qualified candidates through job boards, resume databases, LinkedIn, referrals, outbound recruiting, networking, and other sourcing channels.

Engage

Pick up the phone and start conversations. You'll build relationships with both active applicants and passive candidates who may not initially be looking for another opportunity.

Sell the Opportunity

Clearly communicate Lending Force's culture, compensation opportunity, lead support, benefits, technology, facilities, and growth potential.

Screen & Qualify

Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate experience, communication skills, licensing status, career goals, and overall fit.

Manage the Recruiting Pipeline

Own candidates from initial outreach through accepted offer, maintaining consistent follow-up and accurate records within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Great candidates often have multiple options. You'll know how to address concerns, overcome objections, create urgency when appropriate, and help qualified candidates confidently make a decision.

Partner With Leadership

Work directly with hiring managers and company leadership to understand hiring needs, improve recruiting strategies, and meet aggressive growth targets.

Who We're Looking ForRequired

1+ year of recruiting experience
Strong phone communication and interpersonal skills
Experience proactively sourcing candidates rather than relying exclusively on inbound applicants
Comfortable working toward measurable recruiting and hiring goals
Highly organized with strong candidate follow-up
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Ability to work 100% on-site in Troy, Michigan
Reliable transportation for daily commuting

Strongly Preferred

Mortgage industry recruiting experience
Experience recruiting Loan Officers or other commissioned sales professionals
High-volume recruiting experience
Previous sales, business development, or outbound calling experience
Experience working with an ATS, LinkedIn, Indeed, and candidate sourcing platforms
