Job Title: Front Counter / Cook - Quick Service Restaurant

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Job Description:

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and hardworking individual to join our team as a Front Counter / Cook at our quick service restaurant. In this dual-role position, you will be the face of our business, providing excellent customer service at the front counter while also preparing food in the kitchen according to our quality and safety standards.

In addition to our made-to-order menu items, our locations also produce fresh Zip To Go grab-and-go products, including sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other refrigerated items. Team members should be comfortable assisting with both restaurant operations and food preparation as business needs require.

Responsibilities:

Front Counter Duties

Greet customers with a positive attitude
Take orders accurately and efficiently using a POS system
Handle cash, credit, and mobile transactions
Answer customer questions and resolve issues with professionalism
Keep the counter and dining area clean and stocked

Cook / Kitchen Duties

Prepare food items according to company recipes and standards
Cook and assemble food quickly and correctly
Prepare and package Zip To Go grab-and-go products, including sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other fresh items
Label, date, and stock grab-and-go products according to company procedures
Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are maintained at all times
Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed
Clean kitchen equipment and workstations during and after shifts

Requirements:

Previous restaurant experience is NOT required
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic math skills for handling cash and making change
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Must be dependable, punctual, and have a positive attitude
Must be available to work a flexible schedule

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $18.00 per hour
