Full Job Description

OCBS, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator with a strong working knowledge of construction management and also HOA and single-family permitting to support and coordinate multiple active projects. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Anaheim, CA.

The Senior Project Coordinator plays a critical role in company-wide project permitting as well as planning, coordinating, and monitoring multiple construction projects from initiation through closeout. This role requires exceptional organization, follow-through, and the ability to coordinate across office staff, field personnel, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with estimators, purchasing, superintendents, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to determine project specifications and requirements
Prepare and submit building permit applications for construction projects across multiple jurisdictions (Southern California, primarily LA and Orange County)
Work with city officials, plan checkers, and inspectors to track and resolve any permit application issues
Run the company’s internal safety program, including weekly safety meetings, safety audits and inspections, equipment inspections, and OSHA injury tracking and reporting
Identify and coordinate required resources, including materials, daily manpower, subcontractors, and external stakeholders
Track project progress and prepare detailed status reports and updates for property management, homeowners, law firms, and other stakeholders

Requirements

Previous experience with construction permitting or plan review
Familiarity with municipal building departments and processes
OSHA safety training or certification
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Project Coordinator or similar in-office role within the construction industry
Strong understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in high-pressure environments
Team-oriented mindset with demonstrated leadership

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
