Job Summary:

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm and efficient welcome. You will be responsible for managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and addressing guest inquiries with professionalism and poise. As well as audits, balances, and reports on the various areas of the hotel (e.g., food and beverage, rooms, front desk, gift shop, etc.) to provide accurate and timely financial information on the hotel’s operational performance for the day. Your role includes collaborating with other departments to enhance guest experiences. A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role
Experience with hotel reservations software, like OPERA.
Customer service attitude
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Manage room reservations and cancellations.
Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance as needed
Handle guest complaints or special requests efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate.
Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.
