Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and daily living support. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents or clients by delivering attentive, respectful, and personalized care. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve, promoting independence, safety, and well-being in a supportive environment.

Duties

Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in food handling
Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being
Follow safe patient lifting practices using manual handling techniques to prevent injury for both caregivers and residents

Skills

Strong knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, and memory care strategies
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
Competence in first aid, CPR certification, and safe patient lifting practices to respond promptly during emergencies
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments in home or community care settings
