About the Role

At Mr. Rooter Plumbing, we don’t just fix pipes—we solve problems from start to finish. As a Plumber’s Helper / General Laborer, you’ll play a critical role supporting our underground and excavation team, helping deliver complete plumbing solutions to our customers.

This is a hands-on, physical position for someone who takes pride in hard work, shows up every day ready to go, and wants to build a long-term career in the trades.

What You’ll Do

Assist with excavation and underground plumbing projects
Operate basic tools and equipment (shovels, compactors, etc.)
Dig, backfill, and support trenching operations
Load/unload materials and maintain job site organization
Support pipe repairs, sewer replacements, and trenchless prep work
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
Work alongside experienced plumbers and technicians to learn the trade

What We’re Looking For

Strong work ethic—you show up and get it done
Comfortable with physical labor in all weather conditions
Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
Dependable and punctual (this is non-negotiable)
Team player with a positive attitude
Willingness to learn and take direction
Valid driver’s license preferred
