About Us

Baystate Fitness is a community-driven gym providing a welcoming environment for members of all ages and fitness levels. With over 10,000 square feet of workout space and a newly built 2,400 sq. ft. training room, we offer a high-quality training experience for both general fitness and performance clients.

Under new ownership since September 2022, we are focused on building a best-in-class personal training, small group training, and sports performance program. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing fitness community with strong momentum.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and professional Personal Trainer to join our team. This role includes opportunities to work across one-on-one personal training, semi-private training, small group training, and youth sports performance programs.

This is a high-growth opportunity for a trainer who is passionate about coaching, building relationships, and developing a strong client base within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain a consistent client base across personal and group training services
Deliver safe, effective, and engaging training sessions tailored to individual client goals
Provide an exceptional member experience and high level of customer service
Actively engage with members on the gym floor to build relationships and generate training opportunities
Support the growth of youth and sports performance training programs
Maintain a clean, professional, and organized training environment

Qualifications

Current personal training certification (required)
CPR/AED and First Aid certification required
Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field (preferred)
Experience working with general population and/or youth athletes
Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
Highly motivated, energetic, and professional demeanor
Strong organizational and time management skills
Solid understanding of program design, strength training, and basic nutrition principles
Comfortable with or willing to develop a presence on social media
