Full Job Description

Part time position -No evenings! No weekends!
Flexible hours to offer perfect balance between family/work/school etc.
Perfect position to provide supplemental income!
Casual attire
Seeking a candidate who is interested in a long term commitment
Part time permanent position (no full time positions available)

This position is in person - not remote

Come join our team! Our office is located in Denville, NJ. This position offers perfect balance between work/family/school and is a great opportunity for supplemental income! We offer a friendly, flexible and supportive team environment.

Work approximately 25-28 hrs week /daily Mon through Fri
Work with a daily fixed schedule during the hours of 8am-5pm- work schedule mutually determined upon hire
Attention to detail and problem solving is key
Looking for a detailed and quick learner with good time management
Seeking a team player who communicates, reinforces, and supports the values, culture, and mission of the organization
Medicare Part B, Advantage, Medicaid, and Commercial insurance experience preferred, but not required
EMR system and HIPAA experience preferred, but not required
Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT physician coding preferred, but not required
Will train

This position entails:

Review, approve and daily batching of electronic healthcare claims
Resolution for electronic claim rejections
Maintain and update payor medical policy for prompt reimbursement
Following up with insurance and patient aging accounts receivable
Posting insurance payments and submitting appeals and reconsiderations for payment
Helping resolve payment issues by contacting insurance via telephone and computer portals, working with patients and setting up payment plans
Reconciling insurance payments, posting and balancing financial data
Review, approve and daily batching of patient electronic or text statements
Identifying delinquent accounts and making arrangements for payment
General proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and G Mail preferred
Must be able to communicate over the phone clearly to an elderly and diverse patient population
Bilingual - Spanish a plus

Income paid based on the number of hours worked daily.
