Language Requirement: Must speak Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, or another language or dialect commonly spoken in India.

As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving quality of life and bringing comfort, dignity, and support to those who need it most.

Case Details

Palatine, Illinois
Approximately six-hour shifts, five to six days per week
Schedule may be shared between two caregivers
Anticipated start in late August
Familiarity with Indian culture is preferred

As a Personal Care Aide, You’ll Contribute to Our Success in the Following Ways:

Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
Assist the client with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
Encourage safe movement and activity in accordance with the established care plan
Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks
Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life
Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment

What Is Required?

Ability to speak Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, or another language or dialect commonly spoken in India
High school diploma or GED preferred
Professional or personal experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals preferred
Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation to and from the client’s home
Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist the client as needed, up to 50 pounds
