Child & Adolescent/Adult Therapist – Autism, ADHD & Behavioral Health (LPC/LMSW)

Help Build One of Michigan's Premier Integrated Pediatric Behavioral Health Programs

We are expanding our Integrated Behavioral Health Program and are seeking an outstanding Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and families.
This is a unique opportunity to join a growing pediatric practice where behavioral health is fully integrated into primary care. You'll work alongside pediatricians, behavioral health care managers, psychiatric consultants, and care coordinators to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care for children with emotional, behavioral, developmental, and neurodevelopmental conditions.
We are particularly interested in clinicians with a strong clinical background in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, anxiety, and behavioral disorders, who are excited to help build innovative programs that improve the lives of children and families.
Our therapists enjoy the flexibility of providing in-person therapy in our beautifully renovated pediatric office as well as telehealth services for children, adolescents, and adults if desired.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and young adults.
- Provide family therapy and parent coaching.
- Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop individualized, measurable treatment plans using evidence-based interventions.
- Deliver developmentally appropriate psychotherapy utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities.
- Collaborate closely with pediatricians and the integrated behavioral health team.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and care coordination.
- Provide crisis assessment, intervention, and safety planning when clinically indicated.
- Educate parents and caregivers on child development, emotional regulation, and behavior management.
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and behavioral health program development.

Strong Preference
We are especially interested in therapists with substantial experience working with autistic children and their families, including children with varying communication styles, sensory processing differences, emotional regulation challenges, and complex behavioral needs.
Experience collaborating with schools, ABA providers, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and developmental specialists is highly valued.
Preferred Therapeutic Approaches
Experience and training in one or more of the following:

The ideal candidate enjoys partnering with parents and empowering families through education, coaching, and practical behavioral strategies.
QualificationsRequired
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
- Current Michigan licensure:
- LPC
- LMSW
- LLPC or LLMSW candidates may be considered with appropriate supervision.
- Experience providing psychotherapy to children and adolescents.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to evidence-based, culturally responsive, family-centered care.
Preferred
- Strong clinical experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Experience supporting neurodivergent children and their families.
- Experience in pediatric outpatient, integrated behavioral health, school-based, or community mental health settings.
- Bilingual clinicians are encouraged to apply.
