Job description:
The Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel, providing exceptional guest experiences, and supporting the Hotel Manager in daily tasks. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage various aspects of hotel operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of fostering a welcoming environment for both guests and staff. Responsible for oversight of all aspects of The Lodge including Hotel, Event Center, Bar and Restaurant. Position reports to Corporate and Ownership.

Duties

Overseeing daily hotel operations to ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
Conduct audits to ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain compliance with hotel policies.
Collaborate with department heads to coordinate activities and resolve operational issues.
Train, supervise, and mentor staff to enhance their performance and promote a positive work culture.
Implement human resources practices related to hiring, training, and employee development.
Manage and monitor all events in the event center to assure they are organized, billed correctly and function smoothly.
Monitor overall front and back of the house in the restaurant to ensure smooth operation, guest service and cohesive operation.

Skills

Proficiency in night audit procedures and financial reporting and P&L Responsibilities.
Excellent leadership skills.
Solid understanding of guest relations principles to provide outstanding customer service.

Experience:

Hotel Customer Service and Hospitality Management: 5 years (Required)
