Job Description

CTAM Inc., the company behind Cable Ties and More, is growing and we are looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative who enjoys helping customers, building relationships, and confidently closing sales over the phone.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong sales mindset who is comfortable discussing customer needs, preparing quotes, following up on opportunities, and guiding buyers through the purchase process from initial inquiry to completed order. There is no cold calling customers in this role.

Responsibilities

Answer inbound sales calls and emails from customers across North America
Help customers identify the right cable management, electrical, or industrial product for their specific application
Prepare and follow up on quotes with the goal of converting them into orders
Offer approved discounts and pricing solutions when appropriate
Work directly with corporate purchasers, procurement teams, and contractors to ensure a smooth, frictionless buying experience
Build rapport with high-value customers and develop long-term business relationships
Proactively contact customers with open quotes and outstanding opportunities to close sales
Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure accurate order processing and customer satisfaction
Maintain detailed notes and activity records within our sales systems

Qualifications

Previous inside sales, account management, customer service, or phone sales experience preferred
Confident and professional communication skills, especially over the phone
Strong follow-up habits and a natural desire to close business
Comfortable discussing pricing, quotes, purchase orders, and purchasing agreements
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple customer conversations at once
Positive attitude and a team-first mindset

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with electrical products, cable management products, wiring, networking, construction, maintenance, or industrial supplies is a strong plus. This experience may come from previous employment, a trade background, hands-on projects, or personal interest.
