Responsibilities
- Perform all Pharmacy Production Clerk Associate Representative responsibilities while consistently meeting quality and productivity standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for pharmacy production workflows, policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members on production processes, safety expectations, quality standards, and best practices.
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to team members regarding operational questions and process execution.
- Model and reinforce quality expectations, safety standards, and established procedures.
- Support leadership by identifying training opportunities, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure each package receives the correct paperwork, envelopes, medications, packing materials, and shipping labels before shipment.
- Consistently work on only one order at a time to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Ensure shipping information and patient addresses are accurate and printed correctly.
- Accurately package prescriptions requiring special handling according to specific process and policy requirements.
- Perform visual inspections of patient-bound medications and packaging for quality concerns.
- Support medication preparation activities, including inspecting, labeling, and repackaging medications from manufacturer containers when applicable.
- Prepare mail sacks, bulk containers, and packages for shipment and distribution.
- Perform material handling activities, including stocking shelves, replenishing workstations, and maintaining inventory supplies.
- Promote collaboration and share best practices across the team.
- Escalate issues appropriately and provide recommendations that support quality and continuous improvement.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties and special assignments as needed to support pharmacy operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- General PC knowledge required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good visual acuity.
- Ability to read, compare, and differentiate data accurately.
- Ability to review small medications, labels, and bottles for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Demonstrated ability to assist others, share knowledge, and support team success.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability while performing different roles throughout a shift.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assisting with training, onboarding, mentoring, or coaching team members.
- Experience serving as a subject matter expert or resource for operational processes.
- Experience supporting quality improvement or operational excellence initiatives.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 18 - 27 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
