Duties

Assist in preparing a variety of baked goods, pastries, and desserts following established recipes and quality standards
Occasional coverage of PM service shifts
Support pastry presentation to ensure visually appealing offerings
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, knives, and other baking tools
Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to food safety management practices and sanitation protocols
Package baked items for delivery or display while ensuring freshness and quality are preserved
Contribute to food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, portioning, and assembling components
Support high-volume production needs during busy service times or catering events

Requirements

Proven pastry experience with knowledge of baking techniques and cake decorating skills
Familiarity with food handling regulations and food safety standards in a professional kitchen
Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently with strong knife skills
Basic math skills for recipe measurements, portioning, and inventory management
Experience in food production within the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work quickly in high-pressure situations
Customer service orientation with a positive attitude toward teamwork and collaboration
