Now Hiring: Veterinarian (DVM / VMD)

Location: Cincinnati, OH | Full-Time (flexible scheduling available)

Experience: 5+ years in clinical practice | Ownership / Partnership track for the right candidate

We are not a corporate group. Zola Veterinary Group Ltd. is a privately owned and operated veterinary group built by people who love this profession and refuse to let it become a spreadsheet. There is no private-equity owner setting your production quotas, no distant consolidator dictating a standardized treatment regimen, and no corporate protocol overruling your clinical judgment. Here, the doctor who examines the patient makes the call. You practice the medicine you believe is right for the animal in front of you.

We care for dogs and cats, and we also welcome avian and exotic patients — so if birds, reptiles, and small mammals are your passion, you'll have the caseload to match. About the Role

As a veterinarian with Zola Veterinary Group, you'll provide full-scope medical, surgical, and preventive care to a diverse patient base — companion animals alongside avian and exotic species. You'll build lasting relationships with clients who become part of our extended family, and you'll do it with the autonomy of an independent doctor and the backing of a supportive, well-run team.

What You'll Do

Deliver high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care, exercising your own clinical judgment on diagnostics and treatment plans.
Care for a varied caseload including dogs, cats, and avian and exotic patients.
Build genuine, trusting relationships with clients and educate them on individualized care options.
Mentor and collaborate with a close-knit medical team, and be mentored in turn on the business of veterinary medicine.
Contribute to operational and growth decisions as a valued voice alongside ownership.
Maintain thorough, accurate medical records and uphold a clean, safe, well-organized hospital.
Have fun, and help protect the culture that makes this a place people want to work.

What We're Looking For

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) from an accredited program.
Active (or eligible-to-obtain) veterinary license in Ohio, in good standing, and current DEA registration.
A minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience.
Experience with — or sincere enthusiasm to grow in — avian and exotic medicine is a strong plus.
Sound, independent clinical judgment and a commitment to practicing thoughtful, evidence-based medicine.
Strong communication skills and a real love for clients, patients, and teammates.
An entrepreneurial mindset and interest in the business and future of the practice — the kind of person who wants a seat at the table, not just a shift.
