Full Job Description

Shift: Monday - Friday 7AM - 3PM

We are seeking a reliable and diligent Cleanroom General Cleaner to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and contamination control within our cleanroom environments. As a Cleanroom Janitor, you will be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting areas in compliance with strict cleanliness protocols to ensure a sterile, safe, and controlled environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning tasks in cleanroom environments, including cleaning floors, walls, windows, and ceilings.
Sanitize and disinfect workstations, benches, and equipment following cleanroom guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas while preventing contamination.
Follow cleanroom protocols, including wearing proper protective gear and clothing.
Assist in the deep cleaning of the cleanroom during scheduled maintenance or upgrades.
Track and maintain cleaning inventory and report any shortages.
Adhere to safety and contamination control standards, ensuring the integrity of the cleanroom environment is never compromised.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in cleanroom cleaning or industrial janitorial work is preferred.
Knowledge of cleanroom procedures and contamination control is a plus.
Ability to use specific cleaning products and tools suited for sterile environments.
Attention to detail and ability to follow strict cleaning protocols.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and the ability to report maintenance or cleaning issues.
Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift cleaning equipment.

Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with appropriate staff
Reliable transportation
Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
