Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and personable Front Desk Sales Associate to join our team! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while promoting our tile products and services. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help create a welcoming environment, drive sales, and ensure smooth store operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales expertise and retail knowledge in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly upon arrival, establishing a friendly and professional first impression
Assist customers with product inquiries and recommendations to enhance their shopping experience
Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions, cash handling, and cash drawer management
Upsell products and services by identifying customer needs and presenting suitable options to maximize sales opportunities
Assist customers in the showroom as needed
Ensure excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries maintaining clear communication at all times

Qualifications

Previous experience as a front desk receptionist or in retail sales is preferred
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems, Quickbooks Desktop, cash register operations, and retail math for transactions and cash handling
Ability to perform basic math accurately for sales calculations and cash drawer balancing
Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and customer service best practices
