Christie, RD is a cutting-edge private practice of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists specializing in one-on-one nutrition counseling and workplace wellness. Based in Greensboro, NC, we are a dynamic and rapidly growing team committed to providing personalized, results-driven nutrition programs to our clients. Our practice is also dedicated to advancing the insurance reimbursement landscape in North Carolina, working to expand coverage for nutrition services. We offer a unique blend of professional growth, team collaboration, and community-focused care.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Registered Dietitian to join our practice, where you’ll have the opportunity to provide high-quality, individualized nutrition counseling while contributing to community and corporate wellness initiatives. This position is based primarily in Winston-Salem, NC and includes a combination of in-person counseling, telehealth appointments, and occasional travel to corporate wellness sites and community events throughout the Triad. While our administrative office is located in Greensboro, this role will primarily serve clients in the Winston-Salem market.

In this role, you will work closely with clients to deliver evidence-based nutrition guidance and empower them to achieve their health goals through personalized care and consistent follow-up. You will also deliver engaging nutrition education presentations at various corporate accounts and support the implementation of on-site and virtual wellness initiatives tailored to each organization’s needs.

Our dedicated mentorship and training structure will support you as you refine your counseling skills, expand your clinical expertise, and explore opportunities for professional growth. Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized nutrition assessments and counseling to a diverse clientele.
Develop personalized nutrition care plans and health strategies for conditions such as diabetes, weight management, food allergies, autoimmune disorders, chronic diseases, and overall wellness.
Lead nutrition classes and presentations for corporate wellness programs and community outreach.
Attend health fairs and community events to provide nutrition education and promote healthy lifestyles through interactive and engaging activities.
Follow up with clients who cancel appointments to encourage rescheduling and support strong client retention through consistent communication and relationship building.
Document counseling sessions, manage scheduling, and maintain accurate client records within a defined timeline.
Stay updated on the latest nutrition research to ensure evidence-based practice.
Support program development by creating educational materials, group programs, and digital resources for client engagement.
Contribute to marketing and client retention efforts through blog writing, social media content, or participation in community partnerships.
Assist with quality assurance and compliance by following HIPAA guidelines and maintaining consistent documentation standards.
Provide mentorship and support to interns, assistants, or other team members as needed.
Participate in team meetings and strategy sessions to improve workflow efficiency, service quality, and client experience.

Qualifications:

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Licensed in North Carolina or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Reside in or near Winston-Salem, NC.
Previous experience in one-on-one nutrition counseling (private practice or outpatient) is preferred, but not required.
Passionate about helping clients achieve long-term health and wellness goals.
Strong interpersonal skills, organized, and tech-savvy.
