Sales & Service Advisor

For more than 20 years, Precision Off Road has built a reputation for quality truck customization, accessories, service, and repair.

We build lifted trucks, custom vehicles, and projects our customers are excited about, while also providing professional automotive repair, maintenance, wheels, tires, suspension, alignments, accessories, and fleet services.

We're looking for an experienced Sales & Service Advisor who knows how to build relationships, identify opportunities, and close sales.

This person will take ownership of the customer relationship from the first phone call or walk-in through the completed job.

To be the shop people call first because they know we'll either solve the problem or connect them with someone who can.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is not an order-taking position.

We're looking for someone who can listen to what the customer wants, understand what their vehicle needs, present the right options, build value, follow up, and close the sale.

You'll be responsible for the entire sales and customer experience, including inbound leads, phone calls, showroom customers, service advising, estimates, follow-up, closing, and communication throughout the job.

The goal is simple: increase revenue and gross profit while delivering the level of customer experience and quality Precision Off Road is known for.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Handle inbound phone, web, and walk-in sales opportunities
Greet customers and identify their needs, goals, and budget
Sell wheels, tires, suspension, lift and leveling kits, accessories, repairs, maintenance, and other automotive services
Build accurate estimates and clearly present options to customers
Recommend additional products and services when they provide value to the customer
Follow up on open estimates and unsold opportunities
Convert leads and estimates into scheduled work
Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the service process
Work closely with technicians and the shop team to ensure jobs are properly documented and completed
Communicate additional findings and recommendations to customers and obtain approvals
Maintain accurate customer and vehicle information in our shop management system
Stay current on products, applications, pricing, and automotive aftermarket trends
Build long-term customer relationships that generate repeat and referral business
Take ownership of individual sales performance and contribute to the overall growth of Precision Off Road

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Automotive aftermarket sales experience is strongly preferred.

The right person understands that great sales is more than answering the phone and writing estimates. You need to be comfortable asking questions, identifying opportunities, recommending solutions, discussing money, following up, and asking for the sale.

We're looking for someone with:

Automotive aftermarket, automotive service, truck accessory, tire/wheel, dealership, powersports, or similar sales experience
Proven sales and closing ability
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
Experience building and presenting estimates
Ability to consistently follow up on leads and unsold estimates
Strong organization and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple customers and jobs at the same time
Working knowledge of automotive repair and vehicle components
Ability and willingness to learn new products and applications
Experience with shop management or CRM software
Professional communication and appearance
Competitive, results-oriented mindset
Strong sense of ownership and accountability

Knowledge of lifted trucks, suspension, wheels and tires, diesel trucks, accessories, and off-road products is a major plus.

HOW SUCCESS WILL BE MEASURED

This is a performance-driven sales position. Success will be measured by results, including:

Total sales and revenue
Gross profit dollars and percentage
Estimate close rate
Average repair order / average ticket
Follow-up and conversion of unsold estimates
Customer experience
Repeat and referral business

We provide an established customer base and inbound opportunities. We're looking for someone who knows how to turn those opportunities into profitable sales while taking exceptional care of the customer.

COMPENSATION

Base Pay + Tiered Gross Profit Commission

Expected Total Compensation: $70,000–$100,000+

Our compensation plan is designed to reward performance.

In addition to guaranteed base pay, you'll earn commission based on the gross profit you generate. The commission structure is tiered, meaning stronger gross profit performance creates greater earning potential.

For the right salesperson, there is significant opportunity to grow their income as they grow their book of business and contribute to the overall performance of Precision Off Road.
