Full Job Description

Indian River Transport, one of the nation’s premier liquid bulk food-grade carriers, is seeking a Driver Recruiter to join our dynamic team at our corporate headquarters in Winter Haven, FL. We’re looking for a motivated, people-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for connecting top CDL-A driver talent with long-term career opportunities.

What You’ll Do:

Proactively source and recruit qualified CDL-A drivers using job boards, social media, referrals, and industry networks.
Conduct phone screens and interviews to evaluate driver experience, safety records, and qualifications.
Guide candidates through the full recruitment process from initial contact through orientation and onboarding.
Maintain consistent follow-up and communication with prospective hires to ensure engagement.
Collaborate with safety, operations, and HR teams to ensure a smooth handoff and timely onboarding.
Track and manage candidate activity using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Ensure all hiring practices comply with DOT, FMCSA, and company standards.

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of experience in driver recruiting or high-volume transportation recruiting and minimum quotas.
Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations preferred.
Excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
High sense of urgency with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience with ATS platforms and recruiting software (Tenstreet preferred).
Self-starter mindset with a results-driven attitude.
