Shifts Available

11:00PM- 7:00AM (Overnight shift)
3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (PM Shift)

All care team members participate in a rotating weekend coverage cycle.

AUS Senior Living at Bartow is a 36-bed assisted living community committed to delivering exceptional, resident-centered care through compassion, respect, and engagement. We also use August Health—a modern EMR integrated with our pharmacy—to ensure safe, efficient medication management and real-time care coordination

What You’ll Do

Support ADLs: Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers, feeding, and general hygiene—providing physical and emotional assistance.
Medication Support: Administer or assist residents with medications following correct “rights” (right resident, medication, dose, time, route, documentation, and observe response). Ensure safe storage, proper handling, and secure disposal of medications.
Vital Checks & Monitoring: Record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and observe for changes in resident condition.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely care notes and records (e.g. MAR, EMR) as required by state regulations and facility policies.
Environmental Safety: Encourage cleanliness and hazard-free areas for residents, following infection control best practices.
Connection & Engagement: Build trusting relationships by interacting daily with residents—offering companionship, understanding, and emotional support.
Team Communication: Collaborate with nursing staff, share observations promptly, and support smooth transitions between shifts

Qualifications Required

At least 2 years of experience working in an assisted living facility.
Med-Tech (Qualified Medication Aide) certification valid in Florida.
Current CPR certification (e.g. BLS/CPR).
Florida CNA certification or LPN license in good standing (depending on role).
Strong communication, empathy, and team-player attitude.
Able to safely lift or assist residents as needed.
Flexibility to support rotating weekend duty.
