Full Job Description

Our progressive specialty dental practice in the Augusta area, is looking for a Sterilization Technician.

What you will be doing - key responsibilities:

· Facilitate patient flow by cleaning and resetting clinic chairs as efficiently as possible.

· Maintain sterilization log.

· Follow a monthly maintenance schedule.

· Regularly inspect the clinic (including the brushing stations) and make sure all areas are clean, organized and stocked.

· Be available to throw away, disinfect or replace anything that has fallen on the floor.

· Disposal of garbage as needed.

· Consistently keep sterilization process moving, as the flow of instruments doesn’t stop. Actively participate in staff meetings.

· Work cooperatively with fellow team members.

· Other duties as assigned.

What you bring – qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Good interpersonal skills to maintain effective rapport with patients, parents, doctor, and other staff members.

· Effective verbal skills to communicate with patients and parents, doctor and staff.
