Full Job Description

Love music? Love helping people thrive? Then you’ll love Zoe! Thus position is more “nanny” as caregiver.

Zoe is a happy, 20-year-old with Level 3 Autism & Tetrasomy 18p. She’s nonverbal but communicates beautifully through smiles, gestures, and sign language. She’s calm, loves people, and lights up when music plays.

We’re looking for a 2/3 to full-time caregiver who is kind, patient, and experienced with special needs or respite care. No heavy lifting — Zoe is about 100 lbs. and fully ambulatory. She’s in diapers but has no medications.

A Typical Week

Hang out at home for schoolwork, crafts, and laughs
Head to the YMCA for swims or workouts with her trainer (in-home)
Physical training practice (yes, she’s crushing it!)
Thursdays & Fridays: Troubadour’s Music School in Appleton — Zoe joins choir while you help with care and keep her on schedule
Light meal prep, laundry, and keeping her world happy and calm
Travel with family if you are available

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You...

Have experience with autism, ABA, or special needs care
Are calm, reliable, and love music (bonus if you sing along!)
Don’t flinch at diaper duty
Have a clean driving record and a reliable car
Want a direct-hire position (no agency) with IRIS-funded pay managed by GT Independence

Sample Schedule (we can and will adjust schedule)

Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Optional Sat: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
