✓ WE WILL KEEP YOU BUSY – We're booked 2-3 weeks out consistently. No downtime, no slow seasons. Customers keep dropping off work because they trust us to get it done right. Job security and steady hours so you can focus on the work, not worry about car count.
✓ 5-DAY WORK WEEK (NO MANDATORY WEEKENDS!) – Monday through Friday, 7am–4pm. We only schedule Saturday work if a tech wants the extra hours - and if nobody does, we simply don't do it. Your weekends are yours.
✓ YOU WILL LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERY DAY (WE INVEST IN YOU) – Training isn't just a buzzword here. Keith sends techs to off-site training, brings in specialists like Kevin from Pro Auto Tech for hands-on oscilloscope sessions (noon to 10pm deep dives), and we take on challenging projects specifically so you learn. We once swapped a manual transmission for an Allison - didn't make money on it, but the whole team learned wiring systems, mounting, and troubleshooting.
✓ YOU WILL BE APPRECIATED (OPEN-DOOR POLICY) – Keith's on-site every day. He started as a tech, so he gets it. You can walk into his office anytime, and your ideas actually matter.
✓ YOU WILL ALWAYS KNOW WHERE YOU STAND – We have regular one-on-ones (sometimes every other month with 15 people on staff, but we make it happen) and weekly team meetings every Wednesday. You can see your efficiency numbers in real-time on Full Bay. No surprises, no playing favorites - everything is transparent and above board.
✓ CUSTOMERS TALK DIRECTLY WITH YOU – No barrier between you and the customer. They can come back into the shop, walk around the truck with you, and explain what's going on. You're not diagnosing off a butchered repair order - you're getting it straight from the source. It builds better relationships and makes your job easier.
✓ WE PROVIDE A SAFE AND PRODUCTIVE WORKING ENVIRONMENT – Uniforms provided. Air-conditioned shop (yeah, we actually have AC in Wisconsin). Well-lit, organized (as organized as we can be until the new building is done), and we've got the diagnostic tools you need including up-to-date scan tools and specialty equipment.
✓ NO DRAMA – Life's too short to work with wrench throwers and prima donnas. We don't tolerate them, so you won't have to either. Keith's been around long enough to know what kills a shop culture, and he shuts it down fast.

Starzer Repair Spray Painting & Sandblasting has been serving Crivitz and Marinette County for 11 years. We're a heavy diesel shop with an industrial sandblasting and painting operation that feeds work back and forth.

SKILLS AND TRAITS THAT HELP YOU SHINE IN THIS ROLE:
- 4-5 years of real professional experience with Class 4-8 diesel trucks, trailers, or heavy equipment
- You can hand someone the keys to a truck, pull it in, diagnose the issue, repair it, and send it out - solo
- Strong diagnostic skills (check engine lights, fluid leaks, mechanical issues—you've got it covered)
- You show up for work consistently
- You're efficient and take pride in getting the job done right, not just done fast
- You're comfortable working with customers directly when they come back into the shop
- You want to learn and grow - not just coast
- Valid driver's license and your own tools
