Assistant Controller (Client Advisory / Fractional Environment)

North Loop, Minneapolis (Twin Cities)
Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 + Benefits

This is not a typical in-house accounting role.

At Owl Bookkeeping and CFO Services, you’ll support multiple growing businesses — helping maintain strong financial operations while working alongside experienced Controllers and CFOs.

If you enjoy variety, problem solving, and building strong client relationships, this role offers the opportunity to grow quickly in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

Support accounting operations across multiple client engagements
Prepare and review monthly financials, reconciliations, and reporting
Assist with month-end close, budgeting, and cash flow reporting
Help identify issues and improve accounting processes/workflows
Partner with Controllers, CFOs, bookkeepers, and business owners

Qualifications

5+ years of accounting experience and accounting degree
Strong QuickBooks experience (Online preferred)
Understanding of financial reporting and accounting fundamentals
Experience in bookkeeping, public accounting, or multi-entity environments is a plus
