Low Voltage Network Cabling Field Service Technician
3cBSI is seeking a Network Cabling Field Service Technician who can serve our customers by installing and servicing systems and products. Our systems and products range from low voltage structured cabling, CCTV security cameras, card access, cloud-based systems, audio visual and digital displays.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform commercial low voltage duties with little to no supervision.
Installation of Low Voltage Cabling, Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6e, Cat7.
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings; follow designated job specifications.
Perform Basic cabling including, but not limited to, Cat 5, Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6e, Cat 7 and specialty cable installation and termination.
Installing/troubleshooting racks, speakers, cameras, A/V equipment, and other equipment as needed.
Layout work for self and other employees under supervision.
Direct work of employees with less experience and assist these individuals as needed.
Maintains rapport with customers by examining issue to be addressed; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.
Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Must be a team player and have good communication skills, oral and written, to be able to communicate with other technicians and project managers, daily to ensure that all requirements are met.
Qualified individual should own his own base set of tools and be familiar and comfortable with operating power tools (i.e., Power drills).
Qualified individual should be familiar and comfortable with climbing up and down a ladder, working in a scissor lift and working outdoors as well as indoors.
Clean up job site and company vehicles daily.

Requirements:

Strong analytics and troubleshooting abilities.
Organized, punctual and motivated self-starter
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
Ability to take care of customers' needs while following company procedures.
Present 3cBSI professionally and be a team player.
Respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.
Able to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, stooping, stretching, pulling, crawling, climbing, digging, trenching, and ability to lift, and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
Ability to work on a ladder and elevated platforms.
Able to work in non-heated or cooled construction sites for extended periods of time.
BICSI Technician Certification a plus.
OSHA 10 a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
