These opportunities are supported by the Silicon Valley District Office and are best suited for candidates interested in long-term agency ownership and business development.

The Silicon Valley District is known for hands-on leadership, structured onboarding, and clear expectations. Our approach is practical and focused on real execution. We develop agents who understand insurance fundamentals, communicate confidently in sales conversations, and build disciplined, sustainable businesses. From onboarding through agency launch and long-term growth, our team provides meaningful support, guidance, and accountability every step of the way.

We are seeking business-minded professionals who want to build a long-term career within a stable industry. The ideal candidate enjoys educating clients, building relationships, setting goals, and thinking like a business owner.

Our District currently has multiple agency ownership opportunities available within the greater San Jose / Palo Alto, CA area.

Current opportunities include:

Established agency generating approximately $170,000+ in annual commission income, with an existing client base that includes many Mandarin and Cantonese-speaking customers and strong opportunities for continued growth.
Established agency generating approximately $160,000+ in annual commission income, with an established client base and affordable office space in Milpitas, CA.
Opportunity to build a successful book of business with performance-based incentives and long-term renewal income.

Additional agency opportunities may also be available depending on a candidate’s experience, background, and community connections.

These opportunities allow qualified candidates to step into established agencies with immediate income potential and strong opportunities for continued growth. From time to time, agency ownership opportunities become available as books of business transition to new leadership.

Many agency opportunities can be relocated within the greater San Jose / Sunnyvale area, giving new agency owners flexibility in how they choose to structure and grow their business. Additional details about specific agency opportunities will be shared with qualified candidates during the interview process.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals interested in transitioning from employee to business owner while building on an established client base. Current agency opportunities include books generating six-figure commission income, not including additional performance bonuses offered through Farmers Insurance.

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong client relationships through thoughtful coverage reviews and personalized insurance and financial solutions.
Educate clients on policy options and protection strategies, ensuring a clear understanding of their coverage and long-term planning considerations.
Provide consistent, high-quality service by managing policy updates, servicing needs, and ongoing client communication with responsiveness and professionalism.
Actively prospect, network, and cultivate referral relationships to grow your client base and strengthen your presence within the community.
Commit to ongoing professional development through training and continuing education to deepen product knowledge and industry expertise.
Utilize the District’s training, sales process, and marketing systems to encourage proactive outreach, meaningful conversations, and lasting client relationships.
Lead, coach, and develop your agency team with a focus on education, performance accountability, exceptional client service, and long-term retention.

Minimum Requirements for Consideration:

Have active CA Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses or be willing to obtain the required licenses with step-by-step support from the Silicon Valley District Office.
Minimum requirement of $100,000 in assets to show financial responsibility. (No costs or fees paid to Farmers)
Satisfactory results of background check (credit/criminal).
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Have the willingness to learn and be coachable.
Desire to be an active member and leader of the community.
Strong sales, customer service, and management skills preferred, but not required.
