Payroll Manager - Agency

Located near Elmont, NY

Salary: $95K - $115K; based on experience

A beautiful privately owned human resources and staffing company, focused on simplifying HR for businesses, particularly in the healthcare sector located near Elmont, NY is looking for a Payroll Manager.

Responsibilities:

Manage payroll processes and related tasks.
Answer payroll questions from staff.
Train and provide coverage for payroll staff as needed.
Enter new employees, status changes, and terminations in the payroll system.
Review timecards and ensure accurate payroll processing.
Handle other payroll-related tasks, including tax-related responsibilities.

Qualifications of the Payroll Manager:

MUST have nursing home payroll management experience
Strong working knowledge of payroll processes.
Experience with employee onboarding, status changes, and terminations.
Familiarity with reviewing timecards and payroll procedures.
Knowledge of payroll taxes and compliance.
