Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive dealership performance. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in automotive sales management, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to motivate a team to achieve and exceed sales goals while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and motivate a team of automotive sales professionals.
Recruit, train, and develop sales staff.
Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals and monitor performance.
Assist sales consultants in closing deals and overcoming objections.
Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Maintain compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and legal regulations.
Monitor inventory levels and work with management to ensure appropriate vehicle availability.
Review sales reports, forecasts, and key performance metrics.
Collaborate with the Finance & Insurance (F&I) department to maximize profitability.
Handle customer escalations and resolve issues professionally.
Implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
Maintain a positive, high-energy work environment focused on teamwork and success.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of automotive sales management experience required.
Previous dealership management experience is required.
Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
Knowledge of CRM systems and dealership management software.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with new and pre-owned vehicle sales.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Experience with desking deals and inventory management preferred.
