DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
The Marketing & Communications department is responsible for generating earned revenue, supporting contributed income, and maintaining our brand through the content distributed and published by The Hanover Theatre (THT). Every member of our team supports the sales and strategic goals of THT by being well-informed, detail-oriented, and resourceful in our daily tasks. POSITION PURPOSE:
The Marketing Coordinator provides day-to-day support to the Marketing & Communications team, with primary ownership of email marketing and paid digital campaign production. This role supports the execution of revenue-generating marketing campaigns through email marketing, digital advertising, CRM audience segmentation, campaign asset management, and design support. The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Senior Manager of Marketing and Creative Services Manager to ensure campaigns are launched accurately, on time, and aligned with organizational goals. This role helps ensure campaigns and promotions run smoothly and supports the organization's overall brand, audience engagement, and revenue goals. The role is part of a collaborative and fast-paced team environment and requires strong communication skills and attention to detail.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Email Marketing:

Create, design, schedule, and manage promotional and informational email campaigns, including copy, graphics, audience segmentation, and testing, for performances, programs, and events across all venues.

Pull targeted, segmented audience lists from AudienceView(CRM) to support email campaigns.

Manage the email marketing calendar and send schedule, balancing frequency, timing, and priority across departments.

Serve as the primary point of contact for other departments requesting email sends, gathering copy, assets, and timing needs, and coordinating approvals.

Track and report on email campaign performance metrics as requested.
Campaign Creative & Digital Advertising:

Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns for performances, educational programs, events, and community initiatives across all venues.

Write, edit, proof, and adapt promotional copy for email campaigns, paid digital advertising, print materials, and other marketing collateral.

Pull targeted CRM audience lists to support paid digital advertising, direct mail, and other marketing campaigns.

Create and adapt paid digital campaign creative assets, including headlines, ad copy, descriptions, images, video assets, and graphics, for Meta, TikTok, Google Display, YouTube, Native, Search, and other digital advertising campaigns.
Design & Visual Assets:

Create and adapt graphic assets for email marketing, paid digital advertising, website, and print materials while maintaining brand standards and campaign consistency.

Edit short-form video assets for digital advertising and other marketing campaigns using existing footage and show materials.

Assist in uploading and optimizing images, videos, and other media for email and digital advertising use.
Administrative & Departmental Support:

Assist in proofreading webpages, printed materials, emails, and other promotional content for accuracy, grammar, and brand alignment.

Organize marketing files and support general department operations.

Provide support to the Creative Services Manager and the Senior Manager of Marketing in executing campaigns and marketing initiatives as needed.

SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS:

Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed to support events or campaigns.

Strong proficiency in English—able to read, write, and communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
