We are looking for reliable freelance videographers to capture high-quality hotel footage at properties across the United States and select international destinations.
If you enjoy travelling, discovering unique hotels, and filming beautiful spaces, we'd love to hear from you. This role is ideal for creators who enjoy capturing clean, cinematic footage and are comfortable following detailed filming guidelines.
Assignments are offered based on our hotel partnerships and your availability.
Responsibilities
- Stay at assigned hotels and capture high-quality video footage during your stay
- Film vertical videos suitable for social media platforms
- Capture guest rooms, hotel amenities, restaurants, pools, fitness centers, lobbies, and surrounding areas
- Follow our shot list and filming guidelines to ensure consistent coverage
- Capture smooth, stable, well-composed footage with good lighting and exposure
- Organize and upload raw footage after each assignment
- Communicate professionally with our team before, during, and after each stay
Please note: This role is focused on capturing raw footage only. Video editing is not required.
Requirements
- Experience filming high-quality video content using a smartphone
- Ability to record clean 1080p video
- Strong understanding of framing, lighting, composition, and camera movement
- Ability to capture smooth, stable footage
- Reliable communication and attention to detail
- Ability to follow filming instructions and shot lists
- Willingness to travel when opportunities arise
Preferred
- iPhone for video capture
- Experience filming hotels, resorts, vacation rentals, or travel content
- Experience creating lifestyle, hospitality, architecture, or real estate videos
Assignment Process
All new videographers begin with a trial assignment.
- We'll book a one-night stay at a hotel near your home base.
- You'll complete a filming assignment following our guidelines.
- Reasonable transportation costs for the trial assignment will be reimbursed.
If the trial is successful, you'll become eligible for future assignments. Many future projects involve filming multiple hotels within the same destination over several consecutive days.
For these assignments:
- Hotel accommodations are fully covered.
- Transportation between assigned hotels (rideshare or rental car) will be reimbursed.
- For selecting multi-day assignments that require air travel, airfare reimbursement may also be considered.
